The Taiwan International Student Design Competition, organized by the Ministry of Education and hosted by Asia University, has received support from 336 international English media outlets for global news promotion and calls for submissions.

In addition to the support, the Taiwan International Student Design Competition has received sponsorship from organizations such as iSee Taiwan Foundation (IST), Saying Wen Cultural and Educational Foundation (SWF), and TPCA Environmental Foundation. Collaborative partnerships have also been established with the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Chiayi City, the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Kinmen County, and the Foundation for European Cultural Exchange.
A total of 336 international English media outlets, including renowned institutions such as the Associated Press (AP), The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Yahoo Finance, and USA Today, have solicited articles for the competition.
Chair Professor Pan-Song Lin said the Taiwan International Student Design Competition, organized by the Ministry of Education, has showcased the vitality of design education in Taiwan to the world. Since its inception in 2008, it has now reached its 16th year and has become a globally recognized and respected international competition exclusively for student creative design.
This year's competition is themed "Compassion," which is linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It aims to encourage students worldwide to observe and care about people and things around them, integrating empathy and compassionate care into their works. The competition is divided into three categories: Product Design, Visual Design, and Digital Animation, with a total prize pool of up to 3.7 million New Taiwan Dollars. Starting from May 15, 2023, it is open to students from high school and above to submit their entries online. The deadline for submissions is July 15, 2023.
